Ok, I'll start Very nice design and nice systems running in this world. It has a good realistic feel to it, without being overdone on the realism side... You have to eat and sleep and drink, but you don't get bogged down with it and it mainly just adds good RP flair to the system Monster encounters are a little light right now, but they are increasing as they get close to Live PW, so I don't think that will be an issue at all... The maps are very nicely done, and they add more almost every day it seems Overall a great server, and a great set of players as well They are all great RP'ers and have a lot of fun together... The idea to throw new characters right into some action is executed quite well, and is a welcome change from the typical starting OOC Area with server information piled on top of rules and world background. I like the idea of making the character involved right from the start. All of the server/world/etc information is still provided, and also handled impressively through menus.
Having previously played on a server built by the lead of this pw, I expected great area building and quality scripts, and was by no means disappointed. While I'm not typically a fan of hunger/thirst/fatigue systems, this one actually feels pretty natural. I tend to RP those things anyway (just wasn't a fan of necessarily being made to do so), and it really does work out well.
I've also been impressed by the other things I've played around with, item creation and player housing mostly. The player housing system is very impressive.
Unfortunately, I haven't been around much, so I've missed out on events (although previous experiences with some of the people involved tells me that they're good), and haven't done much exploring. From what I've seen, the areas mesh nicely, and it's easy to find the places you should be going.
In short, I've been impressed with what I've seen so far, and I hope to be around more. I'm looking forward to the server going live.

Visited Moonshae Isle and was swept away by its quality and attention to detail. Soon I was involved in a short well run mini adventure with 4 others. Had a grand ol time! Nicely Done!

This place is absolutely positively the best I've been to. The scripts are fantastic, with no haks to download. They have created an astounding number of unique features. The areas are beautiful and very flavorful. This place looks, feels, acts and by the gods smells like the mystical setting it is modeled after. The best however is the RP. This place has hands down the finest bunch of Rp'ers anywere...from the DM's on down...Of course like any place there are always those who have other pursuits in mind. But it never takes long to find a small, heck or large group of ffolks dedicated to RP. The other day I was ivolved with a DM event with ten PC's and three DM's and I know there were at least that many other PC's out there engaged in RP as well as at least one more DM running around...This place simply rocks!

Although I have had Neverwintwer Nights for a while, I am new to the online gaming aspect. I visited at least a dozen worlds looking for something I liked, and I was put off by most of them because of their obnoxious OOC entrance areas. So logging on to Moonshae and being placed right in the action was fabulous. I felt like I was actually 'in' the character and the world right off the bat. And it only gets better from there. It is a gorgeous world, with tons of areas to explore, great meshing of areas, lots of options to earn gold as a newbie (hunting, fishing, picking plants, carting messages, etc.). The world makes it easy to get into a character and RP by providing all the tools you could want to do so - without intrusive OOC signs and junk you have to deal with. I like the hunger/thirst/fatigue system, realistic without being annoying and provides fodder for RP interaction. As a new player who makes Noob mistakes, the DMs have been totally supportive and patient, even taking the time to have a "in-person" chat in game to give me advice on some basic game-play stuff it would have taken me WAY longer to figure out on my own. As for the other players, I haven't run into a single player yet who hasn't proven to be enjoyable to be around. Great RP players all, getting into their characters, interacting smartly and being patient with someone who is new to all of it. Of all the worlds I've visited, Moonshae is the one that most reminds me of the old pen and paper D&D games that used to keep me up for 48 hours straight having more fun than I could stand. Except now I get visuals! Bravo!
